## Long description

The Delock Micro Irrigation Hose 4.6 mm 30 m for Watering Systems is a dedicated supply pipe engineered for efficient micro-watering setups. With a 4.6 mm diameter and a generous length of 30 meters, this flexible hose allows for targeted water distribution directly to plant roots. It serves as a reliable component for automated plant care systems in gardens, greenhouses, and flower beds, ensuring that water reaches each plant precisely where it is needed.
Advantages
This micro irrigation hose offers exceptional flexibility, making it easy to route around garden beds, corners, and tight spaces without kinking or restricting water flow. Constructed from durable materials, the pipe withstands outdoor environmental conditions and regular watering cycles. Its precise diameter ensures a secure and leak-free connection with standard micro-irrigation fittings, drippers, and micro-sprayers. By delivering water directly to the root zone, the hose minimizes evaporation losses and optimizes overall water efficiency for automated watering systems.
Suitable for
Gardens and landscaped flower beds
Greenhouses and plant nurseries
Automated micro-watering setups
Direct root watering for potted plants and shrubs
When it may not be suitable
This hose is not designed to serve as a main high-pressure garden hose for manual lawn watering or high-volume pressure washer supply. Due to its narrow 4.6 mm diameter, it cannot support high water flow rates required for large sprinkler systems or long-distance main supply lines.
Key specifications
Outer diameter: 4.6 mm
Total length: 30 meters
Application: Micro irrigation and watering systems
Material: Flexible and durable plastic
How to use
Unroll the micro irrigation hose and allow it to relax in the sun for a short period to ease installation and reduce stiffness. Cut the hose to the desired lengths using appropriate cutting tools and connect it to your main water source or pressure reducer using compatible 4.6 mm fittings. Route the hose along your plants, attaching drippers or micro-sprayers at designated intervals to deliver water directly to the soil. Secure the hose with ground pegs if necessary to prevent shifting during operation.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your existing irrigation system or fittings are compatible with a 4.6 mm hose diameter.
Calculate the total required length of 30 meters to ensure it covers your intended garden or greenhouse area.
Determine whether additional connectors, drippers, or pressure regulators are needed for your setup.
Usage recommendations: Flush the hose with clean water before initial installation to clear any dust or debris from transport. Inspect the system periodically for secure connections and ensure the hose is drained or protected from freezing temperatures if used in cold winter climates.
