This DeLOCK enclosure allows installation of a single M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD in 2280, 2260 and 2242 sizes and connects directly to a PlayStation 5 using the two USB Type-A connectors. The robust metal housing with side air vents supports optimal temperature management for the SSD. The enclosure supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s) data transfer and has a black finish.
Advantages
The enclosure offers a tool-free installation: the lid slides back with light pressure and the SSD is secured on the PCB with a rubber nipple, then the lid locks into place. An additional USB Type-A port is passed through from the PS5 so the enclosure’s port can be used for extra USB devices or to charge a controller.
