## Summary description

Delock fan screws set consisting of 20 pieces in M4 x 20 mm size, designed for secure mounting of computer case fans. This hardware set provides reliable installation for PC cooling systems, ensuring proper fan positioning and stability during hardware assembly.

## Long description

The Delock Fan Screws Set M4 x 20 mm 20 pieces 42463 is a specialized hardware set designed for the secure mounting of computer case fans within PC systems. This comprehensive kit includes twenty matching screws, providing an adequate supply for installing multiple cooling fans or upgrading an existing desktop computer setup. Constructed for standard PC assembly tasks, these components ensure that cooling fans remain firmly in place, minimizing vibrations and maintaining optimal airflow throughout the computer chassis.
Advantages
Using a dedicated fan screws set offers significant convenience and reliability during hardware installation. The standardized M4 thread size and 20 mm length ensure proper compatibility with a wide range of computer case fans and mounting holes. Having a complete set of twenty identical pieces allows for uniform installation across multiple cooling units without the need to search for mismatched hardware. This contributes to a neat and professional interior setup for any custom PC build or routine maintenance procedure.
Suitable for
Mounting standard cooling fans inside desktop computer cases
Upgrading or replacing missing or damaged fan mounting hardware
Custom PC builds requiring reliable chassis ventilation installation
Maintenance and repair of existing computer cooling systems
When it may not be suitable
This product is not suitable for mounting computer fans that require specialized coarse-thread screws, thumbscrews, or toolless rubber mounting pins rather than standard M4 threaded fasteners. It is also not appropriate for securing internal computer components such as motherboards, storage drives, or power supplies that utilize different thread diameters and lengths.
Key specifications
Thread size: M4
Screw length: 20 mm
Quantity: 20 pieces per set
Application: Computer case fan mounting
How to use
To use the Delock fan screws set, align your computer case fan with the designated mounting holes on the PC chassis. Insert the M4 x 20 mm screws through the outer panel and the fan frame mounting tabs. Tighten the screws carefully using a compatible screwdriver until the fan is held securely against the chassis wall. Avoid overtightening to prevent potential damage to the fan frame or the surrounding mounting points.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your computer case fans and chassis mounting holes require M4 size threading
Check that a 20 mm screw length is correct for your specific fan thickness and mounting bracket depth
Assess the required quantity to ensure twenty pieces are sufficient for your installation project
Usage recommendations: Store any unused screws from the set in a dry place to prevent loss or damage. Always use a screwdriver that correctly fits the screw head to avoid stripping during installation and maintenance tasks.
