## Long description

The Delock WiFi 5800 MHz Directional Antenna N Female 15 dBi Outdoor Wall and Mast Mount White is an outdoor directional antenna designed to operate at the 5800 MHz frequency. It provides a gain of 15 dBi to help extend wireless network coverage and improve signal reception in outdoor environments. The antenna comes in a durable white housing and is equipped with an N-type female connector, making it a practical component for setting up reliable long-range wireless links and point-to-point network connections.
Advantages
This directional antenna offers targeted signal transmission and reception, allowing users to focus network coverage precisely where it is needed most. The 15 dBi gain significantly improves the range and stability of wireless connections operating on the 5800 MHz frequency band. Its weather-resistant outdoor construction ensures dependable performance across various environmental conditions. Additionally, the included mounting hardware provides flexible installation options, supporting both wall and mast mounting setups to achieve optimal positioning and line of sight.
Suitable for
Extending wireless networks between different buildings outdoors
Establishing reliable point-to-point wireless bridges
Improving 5800 MHz Wi-Fi signal reception in remote areas
Setting up directional outdoor access points for long-range coverage
When it may not be suitable
This antenna is not designed for omnidirectional coverage, meaning it cannot provide an even 360-degree signal distribution. It is also unsuitable for indoor-only wireless setups or for devices that operate on frequency bands other than 5800 MHz.
Key specifications
Operating frequency: 5800 MHz
Antenna gain: 15 dBi
Radiation type: Directional
Connector type: N-type female
Mounting type: Wall and mast mount
Color: White

How to use
To install the antenna, securely attach it to an outdoor wall or mounting mast using the appropriate hardware in a location with a clear line of sight toward the target receiving or transmitting device. Connect a compatible low-loss antenna cable with an N-type male connector from your wireless router, access point, or network card to the antenna's N-type female port. Ensure all outdoor cable connections are properly weatherproofed to prevent moisture ingress. Once physically installed and connected, align the directional antenna precisely toward the opposing network device to achieve maximum signal strength and link quality.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your wireless router or access point operates on the 5800 MHz frequency band
Check that your existing or planned cables use an N-type male connector to match the antenna
Ensure you have a suitable outdoor mounting location with a clear line of sight
Confirm whether a directional antenna pattern meets your specific network coverage requirements
Usage recommendations: For optimal performance, always use high-quality, low-loss coaxial cables kept as short as possible to minimize signal attenuation, and ensure the antenna is securely fastened to withstand strong winds and adverse weather conditions.
