## Long description

The Delock Adapter 67464 USB Type-C Male to USB Type-A Female U-Shape 10 Gbps is a functional accessory designed to connect traditional USB-A peripherals to modern USB-C host devices. Featuring a specialized U-shape design, this adapter allows for efficient cable routing, particularly in restricted workspaces where straight connectors might bend or take up excessive space. It supports reliable data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps, ensuring that connected devices operate with standard high-speed performance.
Advantages
The primary benefit of this adapter lies in its unique U-shape form factor, which directs cables neatly along the housing of the host device. This helps to minimize cable strain, prevents accidental disconnections, and reduces wear on both the cable and the device port. Its compact dimensions make it highly portable, allowing users to carry it easily in a laptop bag or pocket. Furthermore, the robust construction ensures a stable physical connection between the USB Type-C male connector and the USB Type-A female port during daily use.
Suitable for
Connecting standard USB-A flash drives, mice, and keyboards to USB-C laptops or tablets
Optimizing cable routing in tight spaces or restricted desktop environments
Reducing physical strain on device ports caused by straight cables
When it may not be suitable
This adapter is not designed to support video output or power-heavy docking station setups, so it should not be used for connecting external monitors or high-power charging arrays. Additionally, the fixed U-shape orientation means it may block adjacent ports on certain host devices depending on the port placement and spacing.
Key specifications
USB Type-C male connector
USB Type-A female port
U-shape design
Data transfer rate up to 10 Gbps
How to use
To use the adapter, insert the USB Type-C male end directly into an available USB-C port on your host device, ensuring the U-shape bends in the desired direction. Once connected, plug your standard USB-A peripheral cable or device into the USB Type-A female port on the adapter. The operating system of your host device should automatically recognize the connected peripheral without the need for manual driver installations.
What to consider before purchase
Verify the physical layout of your host device to ensure the U-shape orientation does not block adjacent ports
Check that your intended application relies on data transfer rather than video transmission
Confirm compatibility with your existing USB-A peripherals and USB-C host equipment
Usage recommendations: Handle the adapter with care when inserting and removing it from device ports to maintain structural integrity and ensure long-term connector reliability.
