## Long description

The Delock 91841 RJ45 Cat.6A Female to RJ45 Female Cable Coupler with M23.5 x 1.5 mm Thread Cap and IP68 Waterproof Housing is an engineered networking accessory designed to connect and extend Ethernet cables securely in demanding environments. Featuring durable construction and a robust housing, this cable coupler ensures stable network performance where moisture, dust, and physical stress are common challenges.
Advantages
This cable coupler offers exceptional protection against environmental hazards thanks to its IP68 waterproof housing, which prevents dust and water ingress effectively. The integrated M23.5 x 1.5 mm mounting thread allows for secure installation on panels, enclosures, or bulkheads. Supporting Cat.6A performance, it maintains high-speed data transmission rates and reliable signal integrity across extended network runs without compromising bandwidth.
Suitable for
Extending Ethernet and network cables in outdoor installations
Industrial automation environments requiring secure connections
Marine and maritime networking applications
Exposed security camera and surveillance setups
When it may not be suitable
This cable coupler is not designed for standard indoor office environments where waterproof and heavy-duty threaded housings are unnecessary. It may also be oversized for compact consumer networking spaces due to its industrial-grade dimensions and threaded mounting design.
Key specifications
Connector type: RJ45 female to RJ45 female
Performance category: Cat.6A
Thread size: M23.5 x 1.5 mm
Housing protection rating: IP68 waterproof and dustproof
Included accessory: Protective thread cap
How to use
To use the cable coupler, insert your standard RJ45 terminated network cables into both female ports until they click securely into place. If mounting onto a panel or enclosure, utilize the M23.5 x 1.5 mm thread to fasten the coupler tightly, ensuring a stable mechanical fix. When the connection is not in use, secure the protective cap over the interface to maintain the waterproof seal and prevent debris accumulation.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your existing cables feature standard RJ45 male connectors
Check if the M23.5 x 1.5 mm mounting thread matches your panel cutout requirements
Confirm that your application requires an IP68 rated weatherproof solution
Usage recommendations
Always ensure the protective cap is firmly attached when the port is unoccupied, and verify that the threaded mounting is properly tightened to maintain the IP68 waterproof rating in harsh operational conditions.
