## Long description

The DEVI Antypara self-adhesive heating foil mat for mirrors 120x100 cm is a specialized heating element designed to prevent mirror fogging in bathrooms and other humid indoor spaces. By maintaining a slightly elevated temperature on the glass surface, this foil ensures clear visibility immediately after hot showers or baths, eliminating the need to manually wipe condensation away. Featuring a convenient self-adhesive backing, the mat applies directly to the reverse side of a mirror for efficient thermal distribution and reliable everyday comfort.
Advantages
This heating foil mat provides a practical and energy-efficient solution for maintaining a clear mirror surface in high-humidity environments. The self-adhesive layer simplifies installation by allowing secure attachment directly to the back of the mirror without complex tools or additional adhesives. Operating as a thin profile element, it fits discreetly behind the glass while ensuring even heat distribution across the 120x100 cm area. It enhances daily convenience in residential bathrooms, hotels, and locker rooms by keeping mirrors instantly usable after moisture-heavy activities.
Suitable for
Preventing mirror fogging in residential bathrooms and shower rooms
Installation in hotel guest bathrooms and spa facilities
Use in indoor swimming pool changing areas and locker rooms
Retrofitting onto existing mirrors of compatible dimensions
When it may not be suitable
This heating foil is not designed for outdoor use or in environments exposed to direct water jets. It may also be unsuitable for mirrors that lack sufficient flat clearance on the back surface or those made from specialized heat-sensitive glass types not recommended by the manufacturer.
Key specifications
Product type: Self-adhesive heating foil mat for mirrors
Dimensions: 120 x 100 cm
Application: Anti-fogging for bathrooms and humid spaces
Installation: Self-adhesive backing for direct attachment
How to use
Preparation of the mirror surface is essential prior to installation. Ensure the back of the mirror is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Peel away the protective backing from the self-adhesive heating foil and carefully apply it to the reverse side of the mirror, smoothing it out to prevent air bubbles and ensure full contact. Connect the electrical leads according to standard electrical safety guidelines, ideally integrating the mat with the room lighting switch or a dedicated thermostat so it activates when needed. Always consult a qualified electrician for safe wiring and integration into the domestic power supply.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the dimensions of the heating foil match the size and shape of your mirror
Ensure there is adequate electrical wiring provision behind or near the mirror location
Confirm the mirror type is compatible with applied heating elements
Check local electrical installation regulations regarding humid room zones
Turn on the heating mat a few minutes before using the shower to ensure the mirror remains completely clear and fog-free. For optimal energy efficiency, connect the foil to a switched circuit so it operates only when required.
