## Long description

The Digitus DA-71157 external hard disk enclosure is designed specifically for M.2 NVMe solid-state drives, offering a reliable housing solution for portable high-performance storage. Built with a durable aluminum casing, this enclosure ensures efficient heat dissipation to protect your drive during intensive workloads. Equipped with a high-speed USB 3.2 Gen2x2 interface, it delivers exceptional data transfer rates of up to 20Gbps, allowing you to move large files and create quick backups with remarkable efficiency.
Advantages
The aluminum construction of the Digitus DA-71157 external M.2 SSD hard disk enclosure not only provides robust physical protection for your components but also acts as an effective passive heatsink to maintain optimal operating temperatures. Support for the USB 3.2 Gen2x2 standard enables ultra-fast transmission speeds up to 20Gbps, significantly reducing waiting times when handling massive data volumes. Its compact form factor makes it extremely portable, fitting easily into a pocket or bag for storage on the go.
Suitable for
Fast data backups and system recovery tasks
Transferring large media files and video projects
Creating portable high-speed storage for professionals and gamers
Utilizing M.2 NVMe SSDs as external drives
When it may not be suitable
This enclosure is not compatible with SATA-based M.2 SSDs, as it is strictly engineered for NVMe drives. Additionally, devices lacking a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 port will not achieve the maximum theoretical transfer speed of 20Gbps, though the enclosure remains backward compatible with slower USB ports at reduced speeds.
