## Long description

The Düwi Aqua Plus triple surface-mounted socket is a robust electrical solution engineered for environments where moisture and dust protection are essential. This unit provides three grounded outlets in a single, durable housing, finished in a professional grey-graphite color. Designed for surface mounting, it allows for straightforward installation on walls in areas where recessed wiring is not feasible or desired. The integrated protective cover ensures that the sockets remain shielded from external elements when not in use, maintaining safety and longevity.
Advantages
The primary benefit of this socket is its IP44 protection rating, which guarantees resistance against splashing water and solid foreign objects, making it a reliable choice for challenging conditions. The triple-outlet configuration maximizes utility, allowing multiple devices to be powered from a single connection point. Its grounding feature provides an essential layer of electrical safety, while the high-quality construction ensures consistent performance over time. The grey-graphite finish offers a modern, industrial aesthetic that blends well with various workshop or garage interiors.
Suitable for
Garages and home workshops
Covered outdoor areas such as patios or balconies
Utility rooms and basements
Industrial or semi-industrial environments
When it may not be suitable
This socket is not intended for direct exposure to heavy rain, water jets, or submersion, as the IP44 rating only covers protection against splashing water. It is also not suitable for areas requiring specialized explosion-proof equipment or high-pressure cleaning environments.
Key specifications

How to use
Installation should be performed by a qualified professional to ensure compliance with local electrical codes. The unit is designed to be mounted directly onto a flat wall surface using the provided mounting points. Ensure that the power supply is disconnected before beginning the installation. Once the wiring is securely connected to the terminals inside the housing, the cover should be firmly attached to maintain the integrity of the IP44 seal. The protective flaps should be closed whenever the sockets are not actively in use to prevent debris or moisture ingress.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the mounting surface is flat and stable
Ensure the electrical load does not exceed the rated capacity of the socket
Confirm that the IP44 rating meets the specific requirements of your installation environment
Check that the cable entry points are properly sealed during installation
Usage recommendations
Regularly inspect the protective covers for signs of wear or damage to ensure the IP44 seal remains effective. Keep the area around the socket free from excessive dust accumulation to maintain optimal performance.
