Laboratory marker for extra-fine, precise marking and labelling of smooth and transparent surfaces such as slides, reaction vessels, petri and laboratory dishes. The round nib produces a stroke width of 0.75 mm. The marker contains quick-drying, wear-resistant, waterproof, lightfast and low-odour permanent ink that is permanent on plastics and removable from glass with acetone, ethanol, isopropanol or methyl ethyl ketone. The product is tested for extreme resistance to abrasion and for temperature resistance up to 500 °C on aluminium and down to -183 °C in liquid nitrogen; tests were carried out and approved by TÜV Saarland. Recommended by Clariant. Colour: black. Spare nibs (edding 404) are available. Low-odour formulation with no added toluene or xylene.
