## Long description

The Edding 792 gloss paint marker in red is a reliable and high-quality writing instrument designed for permanent, opaque marking on a wide range of surfaces. Whether working with smooth, dark, or transparent materials, this paint marker delivers consistent results with its vibrant red pigment-like ink. It is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of industrial workshops, offices, and creative projects where durable and highly visible identification is essential.
Advantages
This gloss paint marker offers exceptional opacity, ensuring that markings stand out clearly even on dark or patterned backgrounds. The ink is permanent and formulated to resist fading, water, and various weather conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. Its robust construction and reliable valve system ensure an even flow of paint without premature drying, while the barrel provides a comfortable grip for precise application during extended tasks.
Suitable for
Marking and labeling metal, glass, plastic, and wood
Industrial and workshop inventory identification
Outdoor asset tracking and maintenance labeling
Creative art and craft projects on non-porous surfaces
When it may not be suitable
This marker may not be suitable for absorbent surfaces such as raw paper or untreated cardboard, where the paint-like ink can bleed or fail to form a proper gloss layer. Additionally, it is not designed for temporary marking, as the permanent formulation is difficult to remove once dry.
Key specifications
Red gloss paint ink
Permanent and opaque writing formulation
Water-resistant and weather-resistant finish
Suitable for smooth, dark, and transparent surfaces
How to use
Before use, shake the marker thoroughly with the cap on to mix the pigment and internal mixing ball. Press the nib down gently on a scrap piece of paper several times to pump the ink into the nib until it becomes saturated. Apply the marker evenly to a clean, dry, and grease-free surface. Replace the cap tightly after use to prevent the nib from drying out.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the surface material is compatible with permanent paint markers
Consider whether a permanent, weather-resistant finish is required for your application
Check that the red color meets your visibility and coding requirements
Store the marker horizontally at room temperature and ensure the cap is securely closed after every use to maintain optimal ink flow and extend the lifespan of the nib.
