UltraChrome Pro12 pigment ink is an aqueous, all-pigment formulation developed from Epson's K3 and HDR technologies for professional and commercial print production. The formulation expands the color gamut and improves color accuracy and archival image stability. The ink dries quickly to produce water- and scratch-resistant prints and includes Vivid Magenta, Light Grey and Dark Grey for improved neutral balance, reduced bronzing and minimal colour shifts. The Pro formulation also improves Matte and Photo Black to deliver higher Dmax and a wider tonal range in both black-and-white and colour prints. A new Yellow increases UV resistance and durability, and with the addition of Violet the set can achieve up to 99% Pantone coverage.
