## Long description

The EQUIP 337130 fiber optic splice cassette is designed for secure organization and protection of up to 24 fiber optic splices. It includes an integrated splice holder and lid in a durable white housing, making it ideal for professional telecommunication installations, network cabinets, and fiber management systems to ensure reliable organization and routing of optical fibers.
Advantages
The cassette provides reliable mechanical protection and organization for spliced fibers, safeguarding them against dust, bending, and physical damage. Its structured layout maintains the proper bend radius to preserve signal integrity in both single-mode and multimode networks. The inclusion of a protective lid and dedicated core holders ensures that all splices remain securely in place during operation and maintenance.
Suitable for
Professional telecommunication installations and data centers
Enterprise network cabinets and fiber management systems
Organizing up to 24 fiber optic crimp splices
Integration with specific equip splice boxes and 19-inch distribution boxes
When it may not be suitable
This product may not be suitable if your installation requires compatibility with distribution boxes from brands other than equip, as it is specifically designed to fit designated equip series. It is also not intended for direct wall mounting without an appropriate housing or splice enclosure.
Key specifications
Maximum capacity: Up to 24 fiber cores and 24 crimping splices
Dimensions: 150 mm width, 95 mm depth, 11 mm height
Housing color: White
Included components: Tray, lid, and two 12-core holders
Compliance: RoHS compliant
How to use
Mount the cassette securely inside a compatible equip splice box or 19-inch fiber optic distribution box. Route the optical fibers carefully into the tray, ensuring that the minimum bend radius is maintained to prevent signal loss. Place the individual fibers into the integrated 12-core holders and secure the crimp splices within the designated slots. Finally, close the unit with the included protective lid to shield the fibers from dust and external mechanical stress.
What to consider before purchase
Verify compatibility with your existing equip splice boxes or 19-inch fiber optic distribution systems
Check the spatial dimensions of your enclosure to ensure the cassette fits properly
Confirm the required splice capacity matches the 24-core limit of this unit
Usage recommendations: Handle optical fibers with care during installation to avoid micro-bends and contamination. Always secure the protective lid firmly after organizing the splices to maintain optimal dust protection and structural integrity.
