## Long description

The ESI xKey 37 is a portable USB MIDI keyboard controller designed for musicians and producers seeking reliable control and precise expression. Featuring 37 velocity-sensitive keys equipped with polyphonic aftertouch in an ultra-slim aluminum body, this controller integrates seamlessly into modern studio setups and mobile workflows. It provides responsive tactile feedback and broad software compatibility for various music production environments.
Advantages
The device stands out with its exceptionally thin and lightweight aluminum enclosure, making it straightforward to transport in a backpack alongside a laptop or tablet. The 37 velocity-sensitive keys offer accurate dynamic response, while the inclusion of polyphonic aftertouch allows for advanced expressive control over individual notes. Additionally, button-based controls for pitch bend, modulation, and octave shifting provide essential performance functions without requiring extra hardware.
Suitable for
Mobile music production and beatmaking on laptops or tablets
Studio recording sessions where space is limited
Live performances requiring a slim and lightweight keyboard controller
Practicing and sketching musical ideas on the go
When it may not be suitable
This controller is not designed for users who prefer full-sized, weighted piano-action keys, as the low-profile keys offer a very different tactile feel. It also lacks traditional physical mod wheels and pitch bend levers, utilizing pressure-sensitive buttons instead.
