 EVOLVEO DoorPhone AHD7 Plus is a modern color videophone designed for controlling entry to a house, apartment, office or smaller business. The system consists of a 7'' touch screen indoor monitor, an outdoor camera unit with an RFID reader. In normal operation, you can easily check for visitors, couriers, neighbors or unexpected movement at the gate without having to go outside. The videophone allows monitoring the area in front of the door, two-way voice communication, and controlling an electric door lock or gate. It is therefore suitable not only for family homes, but also for offices, businesses, or smaller business buildings where you need to have access under control and at the same time communicate comfortably with the person at the door or gate.  The outdoor unit includes a 125 kHz RFID reader, which allows convenient unlocking by inserting an RFID card or chip. The system supports up to 24 RFID cards, so it can be used for household members, employees, building managers or other regular users. In practice, children do not need to carry a classic key, employees can enter the premises using an assigned card, and the owner has better control over who is allowed entry. RFID access is also practical where you do not want to hand over classic keys to other people.  AHD7 Plus supports Wi-Fi connection in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The network connection is used for extended system functions and remote access via the Tuya Smart / Smart Life mobile application. The basic functions of the video doorphone are available even without the Internet, but after connecting to Wi-Fi, you can receive calls, watch the camera image, communicate with the visitor and control the lock using a smartphone. In practice, this means that if the courier rings and you are not directly at the monitor, you can answer the call on your phone. The image from the outdoor unit will appear on the phone display, you can talk to the visitor and open the door if necessary.  The outdoor unit is made of durable metal alloy and has IP65 protection, making it suitable for outdoor installation at a door, gate or entrance to a building. It is equipped with a 2Mpx CMOS camera with a video resolution of 1920 × 1080 px Full HD and images up to 2048 × 1152 px. The viewing angle is approximately 130° horizontally, which helps to better cover the area in front of the entrance. The unit includes IR illumination for night vision, microphone, speaker, doorbell button, status LED and tamper protection against unauthorized manipulation. This makes it suitable for general outdoor use in family homes and smaller businesses. When installing, it is advisable to place it ideally at a height of approximately 1.4 to 1.7 m and out of direct sunlight or prolonged direct rain. Stable 4-wire connection up to 50 meters
 The system uses a 4-wire connection between the indoor monitor and the outdoor unit. This line transmits image, sound, power and control signals. The outdoor unit does not require a separate power supply, as it is powered directly from the system. The recommended maximum distance between the monitor and the outdoor unit is up to 50 meters, depending on the quality of the wiring. The outdoor unit supports the connection of an electric lock with a voltage of 12 V and a maximum current of 1 A. This feature is very practical for homes with fenced grounds, a long driveway or an entrance out of direct sight.
