Designed to reproduce a dim blue spectrum night light, it enables nighttime observation without interrupting normal animal behaviour or altering natural day–night cycles. The unit features a textured, cratered surface to replicate a moon-like appearance and emits very low heat to preserve a natural nocturnal temperature drop inside the enclosure.
