## Long description

The Fenix HL16 (pink) is a rechargeable headlamp offering hands-free, multilevel lighting in a compact design. It combines a focused beam for task illumination with selectable brightness settings to suit short-range outdoor activities, running, camping, and everyday household use. The headlamp is intended for users seeking a lightweight, wearable light source with straightforward controls and USB rechargeability.
Advantages
The HL16 delivers adjustable brightness levels and a focused beam that makes it suitable for close work and short-range visibility. Its rechargeable power source reduces the need for disposable batteries and supports frequent use. The headband and lightweight construction enable comfortable extended wear, while simple controls make switching modes quick and intuitive.
Suitable for
Running and jogging in low-light conditions
Camping and short-range outdoor tasks
Household repairs and close-up tasks where hands-free light is needed
Everyday carry for quick access to a wearable light
When it may not be suitable
The HL16 is designed for short-range illumination and close tasks; it is not intended as a long-range searchlight or for technical outdoor navigation where high-output, long-throw beams are required. Users who need extreme runtime at maximum brightness or professional-grade impact resistance should consider larger, purpose-built models.
Key specifications
Lighting modes: multiple selectable brightness levels with a focused beam for close tasks
Power source: rechargeable internal battery via USB
Form factor: lightweight headlamp with adjustable headband for hands-free use
Intended range: short-range illumination suitable for everyday and outdoor activities
Controls: simple one- or two-button operation for mode switching
How to use
Charge the headlamp fully via the integrated USB charging port before first use. Adjust the headband to a comfortable fit and position the lamp housing to aim the focused beam where needed. Use the control button(s) to cycle through brightness levels and to switch the lamp on or off. For extended battery life, operate at lower brightness settings when full output is not required and recharge the unit promptly after deep discharge.
What to consider before purchase
Required illumination range: the HL16 is optimized for short-range tasks rather than long-distance beam throw
Rechargeable convenience versus replaceable batteries depending on availability of charging facilities
Comfort and fit of the headband for extended wear
Usage recommendations
Use the HL16 at lower brightness levels for extended runtime during long activities, and reserve higher modes for short bursts when additional light is needed. Regularly recharge the unit after extended use and store it partially charged if it will not be used for a long period. Avoid exposing the USB charging port to moisture during charging.
