Fibaro Flood Sensor is a universal Z-Wave compatible flood and temperature sensor that can operate on battery power (approximately 2 years) or on 12/24 VDC. The device detects water presence, measures temperature, reports tilt or movement, and can send a flood alarm to Z-Wave network devices or to an external alarm controller via an NC contact. It includes a built-in LED indicator and an acoustic alarm; the sensor can be placed on the floor, mounted on a wall, or used with an extended probe connected by wire. The unit is sink-proof and will float and continue to send an alarm if substantially inundated.
