## Long description

The Vertical Electric Log Splitter Fieldmann FZLS 1008V-E is a powerful and reliable machine designed to simplify firewood preparation for domestic use. Powered by a robust 3 kW electric motor and delivering an impressive 8-ton splitting force, this heavy-duty vertical splitter handles demanding wood processing tasks with ease. It is engineered to make splitting logs fast and convenient, ensuring you are well-prepared for the heating season without excessive physical strain.
Advantages
Operating with electricity rather than fuel, this log splitter offers an eco-friendly and low-maintenance alternative for homeowners. The vertical orientation allows for effortless positioning of heavy logs, reducing the need to lift large pieces of timber to high working platforms. Its substantial 8-ton splitting force ensures that even tough and knotty wood can be processed efficiently. Built for stability and durability, the machine provides consistent performance and enhances safety during intensive splitting operations.
Suitable for
Splitting medium to large firewood logs for domestic heating
Processing logs for fireplaces, stoves, and boilers
Homeowners and rural users managing regular firewood supply
When it may not be suitable
This vertical electric log splitter is not designed for heavy commercial forestry or industrial-scale timber production. It also requires a reliable electric power source and is not suitable for off-grid locations without access to standard mains electricity or an appropriate generator.
Key specifications
Electric motor power: 3 kW
Splitting force: 8 tons
Design: Vertical electric log splitter
Intended application: Domestic firewood processing
How to use
Place the log splitter on a firm, level, and stable surface near a suitable power source. Connect the power cord securely and ensure the work area is clear of obstacles. Position the log vertically on the splitting table, holding it securely by the sides. Activate the motor and operate the dual-lever controls simultaneously to bring the splitting wedge down into the wood. Once the log is split, release the controls to return the wedge to its starting position, and clear the split pieces before loading the next log.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your electrical supply can support a 3 kW motor load
Ensure you have adequate storage space for a vertical machine
Assess the typical size and diameter of the logs you plan to split
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and gloves, during operation. Inspect the power cable and moving parts regularly to maintain safe and optimal performance.
