The fischer stand-off insulation system TherMax 8 provides a thermal-bridge-free solution for fastening into external walls within ETICS. The stud screw with a glass-fibre-reinforced cone penetrates the plaster and sits in the insulation, while the anti-cold cone at the tip creates a thermal barrier and secures the outer fixing. TherMax is intended for light loads such as lights, letterboxes or lightning conductors and can be used with concrete, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) and masonry made from solid or perforated brick. The kit Fischer 520182 contains two UX 12 x 70 universal anchors, two SX 5 x 25 screws, two TherMax stud screws and two cover caps suitable for these applications.
