## Long description

The Flex DISTAR Diamond Crown Core Bit RM-TX 1 1/4" 152 mm x 300 mm Dry is a professional-grade diamond core drill designed specifically for efficient dry drilling applications. Engineered to handle demanding renovation and construction tasks, this diamond crown core bit ensures clean and precise holes in hard building materials without the requirement for water cooling.
Advantages
This dry core bit provides exceptional drilling efficiency and stability during operation. The robust diamond segments are optimized to maintain a high cutting speed while ensuring a long service life under regular professional workloads. Its specialized design minimizes vibration, contributing to better user control and reduced fatigue during extended drilling sessions. The dry drilling capability also allows for work in environments where water supply is limited or entirely unavailable.
Suitable for
Dry core drilling in renovation and construction projects
Creating openings for ventilation, plumbing, and electrical installations
Working with hard building materials requiring precise core extraction
When it may not be suitable
This product is not designed for wet drilling applications where continuous water flushing is required to manage extreme dust or cooling demands. It may also be unsuitable for heavy-duty industrial reinforced concrete structures that typically require specialized high-power wet drilling equipment and diamond bits specifically tailored for heavily reforced substrates.
Key specifications
Core bit type: Diamond crown
Drilling method: Dry
Connection type: 1 1/4"
Diameter: 152 mm
Length: 300 mm
How to use
Mount the diamond crown core bit securely onto a compatible core drilling motor utilizing the 1 1/4" connection. Ensure the equipment is switched off and unplugged during installation. Position the bit accurately at the desired drilling location, maintaining a firm and stable grip on the tool. Initiate drilling at a moderate speed, applying steady and even pressure without forcing the tool, allowing the diamond segments to cut efficiently through the material. Periodically retract the bit slightly to clear accumulated dust and debris from the hole.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your drilling equipment is compatible with a 1 1/4" connection size
Confirm that the 152 mm diameter and 300 mm length match your specific project requirements
Ensure your core drill motor is rated for dry drilling operations
Usage recommendations: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, a dust mask, and hearing protection, when performing dry core drilling. Inspect the diamond segments regularly for wear or damage before each use.
