## Long description

The Flex DISTAR Diamond Crown RM-TX Dry Core Bit is a professional diamond tool engineered for efficient dry drilling applications. Featuring a 1 1/4" connection, a diameter of 200 mm, and a length of 300 mm, this core bit delivers precise performance and durability when working with demanding construction materials.
Advantages
The Flex DISTAR Diamond Crown RM-TX provides exceptional reliability and structural strength for intensive drilling tasks. Its robust diamond segment design ensures clean cuts and extended tool life even under continuous operational loads. The dry drilling capability allows for convenient usage on job sites where water supply is limited or entirely unavailable. Furthermore, the standardized 1 1/4 inch connection ensures broad compatibility with standard drilling equipment.
Suitable for
Drilling large-diameter holes in masonry and standard building blocks
Dry core drilling applications on construction and renovation sites
Professional contractors requiring high-precision core drilling tools
Projects where wet cooling systems are impractical or unavailable
When it may not be suitable
This dry core bit is not recommended for drilling through heavily reinforced concrete containing thick steel rebar, as this can damage the diamond segments. It is also unsuitable for handheld wet drilling applications that require specialized wet-only core bits and continuous water cooling systems.
Key specifications
Product type: Dry core bit
Brand: Flex
Connection type: 1 1/4"
Diameter: 200 mm
Length: 300 mm
Drilling method: Dry
How to use
Mount the core bit securely onto a compatible drilling machine using the 1 1/4 inch threaded connection. Ensure the equipment is firmly anchored and set to the appropriate operating parameters for dry masonry drilling. Initiate the cut gently without applying excessive lateral pressure, allowing the diamond segments to engage with the material evenly. Maintain a steady feed rate during operation to achieve clean results and prevent premature segment wear.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your drilling equipment supports a 1 1/4 inch connection type
Check that your drill meets the power requirements for a 200 mm diameter core bit
Confirm that your application relies on dry drilling methods
Ensure the target material does not contain heavy metal reinforcement
Usage recommendations: Always use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, dust masks, and hearing protection, during dry drilling operations. Periodically inspect the diamond segments for wear and allow the core bit to cool down naturally between extended drilling cycles to maximize its lifespan.
