## Long description

The Forming Function power socket model 9358001609 combines a single grounded mains outlet with a USB‑C charging port in one compact module. Designed for residential and light commercial installations, this combined unit supplies standard AC power for appliances and a dedicated USB‑C port for charging phones, tablets and other USB‑C devices. Its integrated design reduces the need for separate wall chargers and keeps cables organized around worktops, bedside tables and office desks.
Advantages
This module provides both a grounded power outlet and a USB‑C port in a single footprint, saving wall space compared with separate devices. The USB‑C port offers a convenient location for direct charging without occupying the mains outlet, and the fixed installation ensures a tidy, permanent power source. The component is suitable for flush mounting in standard electrical boxes and designed for compatibility with typical residential wiring practices.
Suitable for
Charging smartphones, tablets and USB‑C accessories
Powering small household appliances such as lamps and radios
Use in bedrooms, kitchens, home offices and hotel rooms
Light commercial spaces where combined AC and USB power is required
Key specifications
Configuration: 1x grounded AC power outlet + 1x USB‑C port
Mounting: flush installation in standard electrical back box
Finish: fitted as a single modular insert for wall plates
Electrical: mains AC outlet for typical household voltage; USB‑C port for low‑voltage device charging
Application: residential and light commercial indoor environments
How to use
Install the module into a compatible flush-mounted electrical box using appropriate electrical safety procedures and a qualified electrician where required by local regulations. After installation, plug AC devices into the mains outlet as usual. Connect USB‑C devices to the USB‑C port with a suitable cable for charging or power delivery. Ensure the connected devices and cables are compatible with the USB‑C power capabilities of the unit.
Usage recommendations
For safe and reliable operation, verify local voltage and wiring standards before installation and use a certified installer if you are not qualified to perform electrical work. Avoid overloading the mains outlet with high-power appliances while also using the USB‑C port, and use quality USB‑C cables rated for the device being charged.
