## Summary description

Galicja 9800 glass lid with a 16 cm diameter, designed for covering matching pots and pans during cooking. This durable kitchen accessory helps retain heat, moisture, and flavors inside the cookware, ensuring efficient food preparation for everyday home use.

## Long description

The Galicja 9800 Glass Lid with a 16 cm diameter is an essential kitchen accessory designed for covering matching pots and pans during the cooking process. Crafted to fit 16 cm cookware, this durable glass lid helps retain heat, moisture, and natural flavors inside your pots and pans, ensuring efficient and even food preparation for everyday home cooking needs.
Advantages
Using this glass lid provides several practical benefits for daily culinary tasks. It allows you to monitor the cooking progress visually without lifting the cover, which helps maintain a stable internal temperature and prevents heat loss. The durable construction withstands regular kitchen use, while the integrated design assists in keeping your stovetop clean by containing splatters and reducing steam evaporation.
Suitable for
Covering 16 cm pots and pans during boiling, simmering, and stewing
Everyday home cooking and meal preparation
Retaining moisture and flavor in soups, sauces, and vegetables
When it may not be suitable
This lid is not suitable for cookware with a diameter other than 16 cm, as an improper fit will not retain heat or steam correctly. It should also not be used in high-temperature environments that exceed the thermal limits of standard glass kitchen accessories, such as broiler compartments or extreme oven settings without manufacturer verification.
Key specifications
Diameter: 16 cm
Dimensions: 17 x 17 x 6.5 cm
Material: Glass
Application: Compatible with matching 16 cm pots and pans
How to use
Place the glass lid directly onto a compatible 16 cm pot or pan to cover the opening completely during cooking. Ensure the lid rests evenly on the rim of the cookware to trap heat and moisture effectively. Handle the lid carefully during and after cooking, as the glass surface can become hot. Use appropriate heat-resistant mitts or holders when lifting the lid from hot cookware.
What to consider before purchase
Verify the diameter of your existing pots and pans to ensure they measure exactly 16 cm
Confirm whether you prefer a glass lid for monitoring food without lifting
Check the physical dimensions to ensure proper storage space in your kitchen
Usage recommendations: Allow the glass lid to cool down gradually after cooking before washing to prevent thermal shock. Clean the surface with standard dish soap and a soft sponge to maintain clarity and avoid abrasive scourers that may scratch the material.
