The 0.25 m length keeps cable runs tidy in dense installations, while the blue sheath enables quick visual identification of network segments. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 male plugs suitable for Cat5e infrastructure.

The cable uses U/UTP Cat5e construction to support standard Cat5e performance for 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T networks over short distances.
