The station is weather-resistant, has theft protection with Torx screws, and low profile height of just 19 mm. Signal transmission and power for audio and video components use a reverse-polarity-protected, short-circuit-proof 2-wire bus. The device is suitable for outdoor use with IP44 protection and comes in a compact form factor (110 mm width × 19 mm depth × 181 mm height).
