## Summary description

GIRO TEMPO MTB is a mountain bike goggle in hedge green designed for off-road cycling. It features a clear S0 lens with 99% transparency for low-light and night conditions, and a mounting system compatible with tear-off strips for easy debris removal. Suitable for MTB riders seeking reliable eye protection and unobstructed vision on trails.

## Long description

The GIRO TEMPO MTB hedge green with clear lens S0 (99% transparent) and tear-off mount is a mountain bike goggle designed for off-road cycling. Its clear S0 lens provides maximum visibility in low-light and night conditions while the tear-off compatible mounting system allows quick removal of debris-covered outer strips. Built for trail use, the goggle balances unobstructed vision, basic impact protection, and compatibility with standard helmet fit for MTB riders.
Advantages
This GIRO TEMPO MTB goggle offers a highly transparent S0 lens that maintains color fidelity and clarity in dim light. The hedge green frame provides a secure fit and is shaped to interface with mountain bike helmets. The integrated tear-off mount simplifies lens maintenance during long rides or muddy conditions, and the overall design supports clear peripheral vision essential for trail awareness.
Suitable for
Mountain biking on trails, singletrack and forest paths
Low-light and night rides where high lens transparency is required
Races or long rides where quick lens cleaning via tear-offs is beneficial
Riders who need a goggle that fits with MTB helmets and offers wide field of view
When it may not be suitable
The clear S0 lens is optimized for low-light conditions and may offer insufficient glare reduction or contrast enhancement in bright, sunny weather. For high-speed downhill riding where advanced impact certification or thicker lenses are required, riders should verify the goggle meets their specific safety standards and consider models with reinforced lenses or different tint levels.
Key specifications
 Frame color: hedge green
Lens type: clear S0, approximately 99% visible light transmission
Mount: tear-off compatible mounting system for layered strips
Intended use: mountain bike / off-road cycling
Field of view: wide peripheral design for trail awareness
How to use
Fit the GIRO TEMPO MTB goggle over your helmet-compatible eyewell ensuring the strap sits securely around the back of the helmet. For low-light or night rides, use the clear S0 lens to maximize visibility. When debris or mud accumulates, pull a fresh tear-off strip from the compatible mounting system to instantly restore a clean view. After each ride, rinse the lens with clean water and dry with a soft microfiber cloth to avoid scratches.
What to consider before purchase
Intended riding conditions (low-light vs. bright sunlight)
Compatibility with your helmet and available strap adjustment
Whether tear-off strip availability and replacement frequency match your needs
Desired level of impact protection and any applicable safety standards
Usage recommendations
For best performance, pair the goggle with a helmet that provides a close but comfortable fit, keep spare tear-off strips on long or muddy rides, and store the clear S0 lens model for dawn, dusk, and night sessions while choosing tinted lenses for bright daytime conditions.
