## Long description

GlareOne Softbox Hexa 90 PRO is a hexagonal studio softbox with a 90 cm diameter designed for professional and hobby photography. The shape produces soft, even illumination with a broad, natural-looking catchlight suitable for portrait, fashion, product and still-life work. The PRO version is compatible with common studio heads and many speedlights via appropriate adapters, and it is built for quick assembly, compact transport and consistent light quality in controlled studio environments.
Advantages
The hexagonal geometry creates smooth falloff and a distinct yet natural catchlight while minimizing harsh shadows. A 90 cm diameter provides a balance between soft light and manageable size for small studios or on-location shoots. The PRO construction is designed for reliable mounting on standard light heads and for quick setup and teardown, enabling efficient workflow during portrait and product sessions.
Suitable for
Portrait photography — headshots and half-body portraits
Fashion and beauty shoots requiring even facial illumination
Product and still-life photography for soft, diffused highlights
On-location shoots where compact, transportable lighting is needed
Key specifications
 Shape: hexagonal
 Diameter: 90 cm
Compatibility: fits common studio light heads and many speedlights with adapters
Diffusion: front diffuser panel for soft, even light
Construction: PRO-series build for durability and quick assembly
Primary use: studio and location portrait/product lighting
How to use
Attach the softbox to a compatible studio head or speedlight using the appropriate mount or adapter. Spread the ribs and secure the frame, then fit the inner and outer diffusion panels as required to achieve the desired softness. Position the softbox at the recommended distance and angle for your subject to control shadow gradation and catchlight size; closer placement yields softer light and larger catchlights, while greater distance produces more contrast. Use stands and secure mounting to maintain stable positioning during the shoot.
Usage recommendations
For portrait work, place the Hexa 90 PRO slightly above eye level and angled down towards the subject to create natural catchlights and soft facial modeling. When photographing products or still life, use grid accessories or increase distance to reduce spill and shape the light precisely. Regularly check diffusion panels and mounting points for wear to ensure consistent light quality.
