## Long description

GOOBAY 68647 is a 2 m Cat5e U/UTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed to support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet connections. The unshielded twisted pair construction provides reliable signal transmission for typical home and office networks while the black outer jacket offers a discreet appearance and easy cable management.
Advantages
This Cat5e cable supports gigabit Ethernet speeds over 10/100/1000Base-T(X) infrastructures and is suitable for short to medium length connections. The RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with standard routers, switches and network interfaces. The black PVC jacket is durable and visually unobtrusive, allowing tidy integration into workstations and entertainment setups.
Suitable for
Connecting PCs, laptops and printers to a router or switch
Patch panel to switch links in small office networks
Connecting networked media players, smart TVs and game consoles
Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where a 2 m length is appropriate
Key specifications
 Cable category: Cat5e
 Length: 2 m
 Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
 Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
 Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded/untwisted pair)
 Colour: Black
How to use
Insert each RJ-45 connector into the network ports of the devices to be linked until the connector latch clicks into place. Ensure devices are powered on and network settings (DHCP or static IP) are configured as required by your network. For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension along the cable and route it away from strong electromagnetic sources such as transformers or large motors.
Usage recommendations
Use this Cat5e cable for reliable Ethernet links up to gigabit speeds in home and small office environments. For runs longer than 2 m or environments with high electromagnetic interference consider higher category cabling (Cat6/6a) or shielded variants.
