## Long description

The GYS LCD TECHNO 11 True Color welding helmet with auto-darkening LCD (MPN 064997, EAN 3154020064997) is a protective face shield designed for welding tasks. It meets EN 166 and EN 175 standards and provides a True Color viewing experience to improve visibility of the weld pool and surrounding area while protecting the eyes and face from sparks, spatter and harmful radiation.
Advantages
The auto-darkening LCD adapts to changing arc brightness to maintain clear visibility and reduce the need to lift the helmet. True Color optics render weld pool details with improved contrast and more natural tones compared with standard filters. Compliance with EN 166 and EN 175 ensures recognized mechanical and eye protection suitable for welding. The helmet is designed for both professional and hobby use and helps reduce eye strain and improve welding precision.
Suitable for
Arc welding (MMA, TIG, MIG/MAG) where auto-darkening protection is required
Workshop and on-site welding tasks for professionals and hobbyists
Applications requiring clear visibility of the weld pool and fine detail work
Key specifications
Brand: GYS
Model: LCD TECHNO 11 True Color
MPN: 064997
EAN: 3154020064997
Standards: EN 166, EN 175, EN 379 (auto-darkening filter)
Feature: Auto-darkening LCD with True Color optics
How to use
Before welding, inspect the helmet and auto-darkening filter for cracks, dirt or damage. Adjust the headband for a secure and comfortable fit, and set the sensitivity and delay (if available) according to the welding process and ambient light. Position the helmet so the viewing area aligns with your line of sight. When the arc strikes, the LCD will darken automatically; lift or flip the helmet only when the filter is in its light state or when the arc is extinguished. Clean the exterior and replace protective cover lenses as needed to maintain clear optics.
Usage recommendations
Use appropriate shade settings and sensitivity for the welding method (lower shade for TIG, higher for manual arc). Combine the helmet with other personal protective equipment such as gloves, flame-resistant clothing and ear protection. Store the helmet in a dry place and replace the auto-darkening filter or helmet if any certification-related damage occurs.
