## Summary description

Harrows aluminium short shafts designed for darts. These durable replacement stems ensure a secure flight hold and consistent dart balance, making them ideal for regular practice and competitive play. Crafted for longevity and reliable performance.

## Long description

Harrows Shafts Aluminium Short are high-quality replacement stems designed specifically for darts players looking for reliability and durability. Crafted from lightweight yet sturdy aluminum, these short shafts provide a secure flight hold and help maintain a consistent dart balance during throws. They are built to withstand regular practice sessions and competitive matches, ensuring long-lasting performance for your darts setup.
Advantages
The primary advantage of these aluminum shafts is their exceptional durability compared to standard plastic alternatives, making them less prone to bending or breaking upon impact. The precision-engineered design ensures a tight and secure grip on the flight, reducing the risk of flights falling out during play. Additionally, the short length helps modify the overall balance and aerodynamics of the dart, catering to specific throwing styles that require a compact setup.
Suitable for
Regular practice sessions at home or in clubs
Competitive dart matches and tournaments
Players using steel-tip or soft-tip darts with standard threads
Replacing worn or broken plastic stems for improved longevity
When it may not be suitable
These short aluminum shafts may not be ideal for players who prefer a longer stem length to adjust the overall balance point and trajectory of their darts. Furthermore, players who frequently experience 'Robin Hood' shots where a dart hits the rear of another might find aluminum shafts more susceptible to damaged flights compared to flexible nylon alternatives.
Key specifications
Material: Aluminum
Length: Short
Compatibility: Standard 2BA thread darts
Application: Replacement stems for darts
How to use
To install the Harrows Shafts Aluminium Short, unscrew your existing old shafts from the dart barrels in a counter-clockwise direction. Ensure the thread area on the barrel is clean and free from debris. Insert the new aluminum shaft into the barrel thread and turn it clockwise until it is firmly and securely tightened. Attach your dart flights into the slot at the top of the shaft, ensuring they are seated evenly before throwing.
What to consider before purchase
Check that your current dart barrels use a standard 2BA thread for proper compatibility.
Consider whether the short length matches your preferred throwing style and dart balance requirements.
Assess your preference for aluminum over nylon materials regarding weight and rigidity.
Usage recommendations: Regularly check the tightness of the shafts before and during play, as vibrations from grouping darts can occasionally loosen threaded components. Keep spare flights on hand, as rigid metal shafts can sometimes cause increased wear on certain flight types during tight groupings.
