Universal daily cutting tasks
When it may not be suitable
This knife may not be ideal for users looking for an ultra-lightweight folding knife for minimalist pocket carry, as it is a robust fixed-blade tool designed for heavy-duty outdoor use. Additionally, those who prefer synthetic, maintenance-free handles over traditional wood might want to consider alternative options.
Key specifications
Blade material: Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel
Handle material: Wood
Blade type: Fixed blade
Construction: Full-tang
How to use
Hold the handle firmly using a comfortable grip suited to the cutting task at hand. Guide the blade smoothly through the material, maintaining control and keeping your fingers away from the cutting edge. Ensure the knife is used for cutting and slicing rather than improper tasks such as prying or hammering, which can damage the blade.
What to consider before purchase
Check local laws and regulations regarding the carry of fixed-blade knives in public areas.
Consider the maintenance requirements of natural wood handles and stainless steel blades.
Assess whether a fixed-blade knife suits your specific outdoor or daily cutting needs.
To maintain the performance and longevity of your HELLE Temagami 14C28 knife, clean and dry the blade thoroughly after each use, and occasionally treat the wooden handle with suitable oils to preserve its natural finish. Store the knife in a dry environment when not in use.
