HiSmart G3900 is a 3U rack-mount data storage server with sixteen 3.5" hot‑swap HDD bays, designed for centralized video and data storage, CCTV archives, TV studio media, digital libraries and other large data repositories. The unit ships without HDDs and without an operating system installed; it includes an mSATA system disk (SK hynix SC210 128GB) and an Intel Skylake platform powered by a Celeron G3900 2.80 GHz processor.

The chassis supports up to 16 front hot-pluggable 3.5" SATA drives with a maximum single-disk capacity of 14 TB, delivering a maximum raw storage capacity of 224 TB.
