The ICY BOX IB-170SK-B is a 5.25" storage drive tray for one 3.5" SATA hard disk drive with a maximum height of 1". It installs into a standard 5.25" bay and supports SATA I/II/III transfer rates up to 6 Gbit/s using a high-quality NSS (no scratch SATA) connector. The tray is made of aluminium for improved heat dissipation and comes in black. AC and SATA cables are included for easy connection.

Constructed from special aluminium, the IB-170SK-B offers improved cooling performance compared with typical steel trays. An integrated fan has been enlarged from 3 cm to 4 cm, which increases cooling efficiency and reduces noise.
