## Summary description

InLine HDMI AOC Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 cable, 40 m, supporting up to 48 Gbit/s data transfer and 8K/4K video. Features HDMI Type A male-to-male connectors with gold-plated contacts and ARC support. Active optical construction (AOC) enables long-distance signal transmission for TVs, projectors, AV receivers and gaming setups.

## Long description

The InLine HDMI AOC Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 cable (40 m) is a long-reach HDMI connection designed for transmission of high-resolution video and multichannel audio over extended distances. With support for up to 48 Gbit/s bandwidth and HDMI 2.1 features, the cable carries 8K video at up to 60 Hz or 4K at up to 120 Hz, and includes Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) for lossless high-definition audio. The cable uses an active optical construction (AOC) that combines optical fibres with copper conductors to provide longer runs with reduced weight and improved resistance to electromagnetic interference, while maintaining compatibility with standard HDMI Type A ports and gold-plated contacts for improved contact reliability.
Advantages
The active optical design enables reliable signal transmission over 40 metres without the bulk and signal loss typical of long copper-only cables, making it suitable for installations that require long distance with consistent bandwidth. Support for HDMI 2.1 features and 48 Gbit/s bandwidth ensures compatibility with high-frame-rate and high-resolution sources, while eARC support allows transmission of uncompressed, high-resolution audio formats. Gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors improve contact corrosion resistance and conductivity, helping maintain stable connections in repeated use or humid environments.
Suitable for
Home cinema setups connecting 8K/4K TVs, projectors and AV receivers over long distances
Gaming systems that require high frame rates and low latency at 4K/8K resolutions
Professional video editing and production environments requiring real-time high-resolution playback
Conference rooms, digital signage and public display installations with long cable runs
Key specifications
Data bandwidth: up to 48 Gbit/s
HDMI version: HDMI 2.1 features (supports 8K@60 Hz and 4K@120 Hz)
Length: 40 m
Connector type: HDMI Type A (male) to HDMI Type A (male)
Cable construction: Active Optical Cable (AOC) combining optical fibres and copper
Audio: Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) support for high-resolution audio
Colour: Black with gold-plated contacts
How to use
Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output of your source device (such as a Blu-ray player, game console, media PC or AV receiver) and the other plug to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, projector or monitor). Ensure both devices support the desired HDMI 2.1 features and set display and audio settings on source and sink devices accordingly. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks along the cable; allow gentle bending radii during installation and route the cable away from heavy electrical interference sources. No external power supply is required for normal operation of the AOC cable.
Usage recommendations
For best results, verify that connected devices and HDMI inputs are HDMI 2.1 compatible and that firmware on source and display devices is up to date. When installing long runs, secure the cable with appropriate fasteners and avoid pinching at connector ends. If you experience signal issues, check connector seating and try alternate HDMI inputs or devices to isolate compatibility limitations.
