The device is operated as a single unit and is not designed as a preconfigured set. Two identical devices are required for a complete USB connection. One device operates in host mode and is connected to a computer. The second device is operated in device mode and establishes the connection to USB end devices. With a maximum data rate of up to 480 Mb/s, the transmission complies with the USB 2.0 standard.
