## Summary description

Inter-Tech 88887219 telescopic slide designed for 19-inch server racks with 1U capacity. Features a depth of 650 mm, a maximum weight capacity of 30 kg, and includes mounting screws.

## Long description

The Inter-Tech telescopic slide is designed to facilitate the smooth and comfortable extension of components from 19-inch server and network cabinets. Built for 19-inch racks with a 1U capacity, these metallic rails offer a practical solution for organizing and accessing hardware installed in data centers or server rooms. Constructed from robust steel with a gray finish, the rails ensure reliable support and long-lasting durability for your rack-mounted equipment.
Advantages
These telescopic rails provide easy access to installed devices, simplifying maintenance, cable management, and hardware upgrades without requiring the complete removal of equipment from the rack. The adjustable mounting depth ranging from 690 mm to 1000 mm ensures high compatibility with various cabinet sizes. Additionally, the set comes complete with mounting screws for straightforward installation right out of the box.
Suitable for
Mounting 1-unit servers into 19-inch racks
Installing patch panels and network switches
Integrating rack-mounted hardware that requires periodic maintenance access
When it may not be suitable
This product is not suitable for equipment that exceeds the maximum weight capacity of 30 kg or devices that require more than 1U of rack space. It is also incompatible with non-standard rack widths that do not conform to the 19-inch specification.
Key specifications
Rack capacity: 1U
Compatible rack width: 19 inches
Depth: 650 mm
Mounting depth range: 690 mm to 1000 mm
Maximum weight capacity: 30 kg
Material: Steel
Color: Metallic gray

How to use
Begin by measuring the distance between the front and rear mounting rails of your 19-inch cabinet to ensure it falls within the adjustable range of 690 mm to 1000 mm. Secure the telescopic slides to the rack posts using the provided mounting screws, ensuring both sides are level and properly aligned. Once the rails are securely fastened to the cabinet, attach your 19-inch server or other compatible 1U hardware to the sliding mechanism, verifying that the weight is evenly distributed and does not exceed the specified limit before testing the extension movement.
What to consider before purchase
Verify the available rack space to ensure your setup accommodates 1U components
Check the depth of your server cabinet against the 690 mm to 1000 mm mounting range
Confirm that the total weight of your equipment does not exceed the 30 kg load limit
Usage recommendations
Ensure that the rack cabinet is securely anchored to the floor or wall to prevent tipping when heavy components are extended on the telescopic slides. Regularly check the mounting screws for tightness during routine maintenance.
