The compact, lightweight, IP68-rated enclosure is dust- and waterproof, shockproof (survives drops up to 4 m) and crushproof (withstands the weight of a 2.7 ton vehicle). How to use
Connect the diskAshur M2 to any host with a USB port using the included Type-C or Type-A cable. When prompted, enter the 7–15 digit User PIN (or Admin PIN) on the onboard keypad to unlock the drive; once unlocked it behaves like a normal portable SSD and requires no software. If the User PIN is forgotten, an Administrator can use the Admin PIN or the Admin-configured one-time recovery PIN to unlock the device and allow the User to set a new PIN. The drive can be configured by Admin or User as read-only if required.
Usage recommendations
Set an Admin PIN and configure User PIN policies (minimum length and special-character requirements) before deployment. Regularly back up critical data and store the Admin and recovery PINs securely; do not expose the drive to prolonged submersion beyond IP68 limits or to conditions exceeding specified environmental tolerances.
