## Summary description

ITIMPORT bathroom sealing tape, 2.2 cm wide and 3.2 m long, designed to seal joints and edges in bathrooms and wet areas. Provides a waterproof barrier for showers, bathtubs, sinks and wall joints. Suitable for use with ceramic, tile, acrylic and metal surfaces to prevent water ingress and mold formation during renovations and repairs.

## Long description

ITIMPORT bathroom tape 2.2 cm x 3.2 m is a narrow, flexible sealing strip designed to create a waterproof barrier along joints and edges in bathrooms and other wet areas. The tape adheres to common materials such as ceramic tile, acrylic, metal and enamel, providing continuous protection at transitions between shower trays, bathtubs, sinks and walls. With a width of 2.2 cm and a roll length of 3.2 m, it is intended for finishing narrow seams and protecting against water ingress and subsequent mold growth during renovations or repairs.
Advantages
The tape offers a simple sealing solution that is quick to apply and requires no special tools. Its flexible construction conforms to curved and uneven surfaces, while the adhesive backing creates an immediate bond to smooth substrates. Because it is designed specifically for wet-room applications, it helps reduce the risk of moisture penetration and consequent damage to building materials.
Suitable for
Sealing joints between wall tiles and shower trays
Finishing the gap around bathtubs and sinks
Waterproofing corners and narrow seams in wet rooms
Temporary or permanent repairs on ceramic, acrylic and metal surfaces
When it may not be suitable
The tape is intended for smooth, clean surfaces and may not adhere properly to heavily textured, dusty or greasy substrates. It is not a substitute for full waterproofing systems behind tiles, such as membranes or tanking systems, where building regulations or long-term exposure require structural waterproofing solutions.
Key specifications
Width: 2.2 cm
Length: 3.2 m
Application: indoor use in bathrooms and wet areas
Compatible surfaces: ceramic tile, acrylic, metal, enamel
Form: flexible sealing tape with adhesive backing
How to use
Prepare the surface by cleaning and drying thoroughly to remove dust, grease and loose material. Measure and cut the required length of tape, then peel away the release liner and press the adhesive side firmly onto the joint or edge, smoothing out any air pockets. For corners or curves, apply slowly and press firmly to ensure full contact. Trim excess material with a sharp knife. Allow the adhesive to set according to ambient temperature before exposing the area to direct water flow.
What to consider before purchase
Ensure the surfaces are suitable: smooth, clean and dry for optimal adhesion
Verify that the roll length and width meet the dimensions of the gaps you need to seal
Check compatibility with the materials in your bathroom finish (tile, acrylic, metal)
Consider whether a full waterproofing membrane is required for your renovation
Usage recommendations
For best results, use at room temperature on clean substrates and press firmly along the full length during installation; if sealing areas with continuous water exposure, combine with proper drain management and periodic inspection to maintain a watertight finish.
