The Joy-iT MB-CONN01 breakout board makes all contacts of the BBC micro:bit easily accessible via a pin socket and adds a regulated power supply so the board can be powered from a 5–9 V source. The board includes a removable solderless breadboard on the top area for building test or experiment circuits and a freely wireable solder breadboard on the lower half for soldering components or entire projects for longer-term use.
