## Long description

The Kanguru FlashTrust Secure USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive 128 GB Grey with Physical Write Protect Switch and Secure Firmware is a reliable storage solution designed to protect your important files. Combining high capacity with advanced firmware security, this grey USB flash drive ensures secure data storage and transfer for both personal and professional environments. It incorporates built-in protections against firmware-based threats and complies with strict standards.
Advantages
This secure USB drive features onboard secure firmware utilizing RSA-2048 bit digital signatures, protecting the device against malicious firmware attacks and BadUSB vulnerabilities. It includes a physical write-protect switch that allows you to easily toggle read-only mode to prevent accidental overwriting or deletion of stored files. With fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance, it delivers efficient data transfer speeds reaching up to 230 MB/s for reading and 85 MB/s for writing, ensuring quick access to large documents, media files, and backups.
Suitable for
Storing and transferring sensitive business documents safely
Transporting personal files with an added layer of firmware security
Preventing accidental modification of data using the physical write-protect switch
Daily file management on computers equipped with USB Type-A ports
When it may not be suitable
This flash drive does not provide hardware-based data encryption, meaning the stored files themselves remain unencrypted and accessible if the device is lost or physically compromised. Users requiring mandatory onboard data encryption for strict regulatory compliance may need to consider fully encrypted secure drives instead.
