The Kathrein CAS 80gr satellite antenna is a compact 75 cm reflector designed for reception in the 10.70–12.75 GHz band. The assembly includes the aluminium powder-coated reflector, a galvanised and plastics-coated feed system support, and a mast support. All connectors are corrosion-resistant stainless steel or zinc die-cast. The antenna is available in graphite-grey, white or red-brown and is TÜV design approved.
Advantages
The design provides optimal electrical performance with minimal mechanical dimensions through an offset-feed layout. Installation effort is reduced by a completely pre-mounted unit, a reflector keyhole fixing system, zinc die-cast wing nuts with standardised hexagon size, elevation scale on both sides and a fold-down feature that minimises support arm dimensions. A threaded clamp of hot-dip galvanised steel and a cable holder for up to eight coaxial cables are included.
