The KNIPEX WireStripper Metric version (model 13 72 200 ME) is a compact cable stripper designed for precise removal of insulation from solid and fine‑stranded conductors. Made from stainless steel with an ergonomic hybrid shape, the tool combines the access of needle‑nose pliers with the stability of combination pliers and is suitable for cables with diameters and cross‑sections within the 0.5–6 mm range.

Sharp, precisely ground stripping profiles allow clean insulation removal for solid conductors from 0.75–6 mm² and fine‑stranded conductors from 0.5–4 mm². The innovative cutting geometry makes cutting easier, including for flat cables, while location ridges enable accurate wire positioning.
