## Long description

Knitas Children's Mittens 2002 Wool Various Colours Size 4-5 are designed to provide warmth and comfort for young hands during colder weather. Manufactured by Knitas, these woolen children's mittens combine natural materials with practical everyday design, making them a reliable choice for the winter season. Available in various colours, they suit different personal preferences while offering standard hand protection for children aged 4 to 5 years.
Advantages
The use of natural wool provides excellent thermal insulation, keeping children's hands warm in low temperatures. Wool is also a breathable material that helps regulate temperature and moisture, reducing the risk of overheating or dampness during outdoor activities. The flexible construction allows for natural finger movement, ensuring comfort during play or daily walks. Additionally, the standard sizing tailored for young children offers a secure and comfortable fit, while the durable construction ensures reliable use throughout the cold season.
Suitable for
Daily outdoor walks in cold weather
Winter playground activities
Walking to and from kindergarten or school
Outdoor family outings and winter trips
When it may not be suitable
These wool mittens may not be suitable for children with wool sensitivities or allergies, as direct contact with natural wool fibers can cause irritation. They are also not designed for water sports or prolonged exposure to wet snow, as untreated wool can absorb moisture and lose its insulating properties over time unless paired with waterproof outer layers.
Key specifications

Target group: Children
Size: 4-5
Colour: Various colours
Warranty: 24 months
How to use
To put the mittens on, ensure the child's hands are dry and slide each hand gently into the corresponding mitten, pulling the cuffs up over the wrists or jacket sleeves to prevent cold air and snow from entering. For maintenance, follow gentle wool care guidelines, typically hand washing in lukewarm water with a mild detergent designed for wool, and lay flat to dry away from direct heat sources to preserve the shape and material integrity.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that size 4-5 corresponds to the hand measurements of the child
Check if the child has any known sensitivities to wool materials
Consider the intended weather conditions and whether water-resistant outer layers are needed
Review the 24-month warranty terms for peace of mind
For best results, wash the mittens only when necessary using wool-safe detergents and store them in a clean, dry place during the warmer months to protect the natural fibers.
