It features a 240 mm working width, hardened steel cutting knives and a 40 litre removable collection container with a transparent illuminated front window to monitor fill level. The unit supports shredding of paper, credit cards and CDs/DVDs and incorporates a Hybrid Power Management System that stores energy to perform up to 15% of shredding from stored power, allowing automatic disconnection from mains when shredding is almost complete.
Advantages
The Hybrid Power Management System reduces mains energy use by using stored energy for part of the shredding cycle while LED indicators provide operational status. Hardened steel knives are resistant to staples and paper clips, and a high-efficiency continuous-duty motor is specified for prolonged operation without overheating.
