Film scanner Kodak Scanza RODFS35 14 MP with USB connectivity for 35mm, 110, 126, Super 8 and slides
Kodak Scanza RODFS35 is a dedicated film scanner that converts analog film and mounted slides into digital images at up to 14 megapixels. The unit accepts 35mm, 110, 126 and Super 8 film formats and includes adapters and built-in controls to simplify loading and scanning. USB connectivity enables straightforward transfer of scanned images to a computer for archiving, sharing or further editing. The scanner produces files suitable for prints, online use and basic restoration workflows.
The scanner offers 14 MP capture resolution, which provides sufficient detail for standard prints and digital archives. Multiple format support (35mm, 110, 126, Super 8 and mounted slides) reduces the need for separate devices. Built-in controls and adapters streamline the scanning process, while USB connectivity makes it easy to move files to a PC or laptop. The device is designed for quick setup and straightforward operation, minimizing the technical steps required for basic digitization tasks.
Install the supplied adapters for the film type you intend to scan and load the film or slide into the holder according to the marked orientation. Connect the scanner to a computer using the USB cable and power it on. Use the built-in controls to preview and capture images; follow on-screen prompts on your computer if required to complete file transfer. After scanning, review the digital files on your computer and perform any cropping, color correction or restoration in image-editing software as needed.
Handle film and slides by the edges, work in a clean, dust-free area, and allow scanned images to be saved in lossless or high-quality JPEG formats for archiving. For best results, perform dust removal and color correction in post-processing software and keep the original film properly stored after digitization.
