## Long description

The Kodak DRB-2M changing bag is an essential tool for photographers working with analog film. Designed as a light-tight darkroom bag, it allows for safe loading and unloading of camera film negatives and processing equipment without the need for a permanent darkroom. Measuring 58x60 cm, it provides ample internal workspace for handling rolls and cassettes securely in daylight conditions.
Advantages
This changing bag provides a completely light-tight environment that protects sensitive photographic film from accidental exposure during handling. Its portable design allows analog photographers to work on film loading and unloading virtually anywhere, eliminating the physical space and setup requirements of a dedicated darkroom. The generous dimensions offer sufficient room for hands and equipment movement inside, while the durable material ensures reliable, long-term use for film processing preparation.
Suitable for
Loading and unloading 35mm and medium format film rolls in daylight
Transferring exposed film negatives into developing tanks and reels
Analog photography enthusiasts working outside a traditional darkroom
Mobile photographers and field technicians handling light-sensitive materials
When it may not be suitable
This bag may not be suitable for individuals working with very large format sheet films that require extensive physical workspace beyond standard dimensions. It is also not intended for long-term storage of chemicals or developed negatives.
Key specifications
Product type: Light-tight changing bag for film processing
Dimensions: 58 x 60 cm
Material: Light-proof fabric
Application: Analog photography, film loading, and unloading
How to use
Place all necessary items, such as developing tanks, reels, film cassettes, and scissors, inside the unzipped changing bag. Zip the inner and outer closures completely to ensure no light can enter. Insert your hands through the designated arm sleeves, which feature secure elastic closures to block ambient light. Perform the film loading or unloading operations by touch inside the dark enclosure, and remove the sealed equipment only after verifying that the film is safely secured within its light-tight container or processing tank.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the 58x60 cm workspace is sufficient for your specific film processing equipment and developing tanks
Ensure you are comfortable performing film loading and manipulation tasks entirely by touch
Check the arm opening size to confirm comfortable access for your hands during extended handling
Store the changing bag in a clean, dry place completely flat or loosely folded to prevent creases in the light-tight fabric. Regularly inspect the zippers and arm sleeves for wear to maintain absolute darkness during film handling.
