## Long description

Kotar foil fixing pins are essential components designed for the secure installation and stabilization of various protective films and membranes. This set includes 150 durable pins, providing a reliable and efficient solution for anchoring materials firmly to the ground or specific surfaces. Engineered for longevity and ease of use, these pins ensure that your protective sheeting remains in place even under challenging conditions, making them a practical choice for professional construction sites, agricultural projects, and home gardening tasks.
Advantages
The primary benefit of using Kotar foil fixing pins is their ability to provide a stable and long-lasting hold for protective films. Their robust construction ensures they can withstand environmental pressures, preventing the film from shifting or lifting due to wind or soil movement. By using these specialized pins, you can achieve a professional finish in your projects, ensuring that the underlying surface remains protected and the installation remains intact over extended periods.
Suitable for
Securing agricultural films and greenhouse covers
Anchoring protective sheeting on construction sites
Fixing landscape fabrics and weed control mats in gardens
Stabilizing ground covers during landscaping projects
These pins may not be suitable for use in extremely rocky or hard-packed soil where the pins cannot be driven in without damage. They are also not intended for heavy-duty structural anchoring where high-tensile load-bearing capacity is required.
Key specifications
Quantity: 150 pieces per pack
Material: Durable synthetic construction
Application: Ground and surface film fixation
Compatibility: Suitable for various types of protective sheeting
How to use
To use the Kotar foil fixing pins, first lay your protective film or membrane flat over the desired area, ensuring it is positioned correctly. Once the film is in place, push the pins through the material and into the ground at regular intervals to ensure even tension. For larger areas, it is recommended to space the pins closer together to prevent the film from flapping or lifting. Ensure the head of the pin is flush against the film for a secure and tidy installation.
What to consider before purchase
Assess the soil type to ensure it is suitable for pin insertion
Calculate the total area to determine if 150 pieces are sufficient for your project
Check the thickness of your film to ensure compatibility with the pin design
Usage recommendations
For optimal results, install the pins when the soil is slightly moist to allow for easier penetration. Always ensure the film is pulled taut before securing it to prevent sagging and water accumulation.
