## Long description

The Krause Corda 9-step aluminium multifunction ladder (model 033390) is a lightweight, convertible ladder designed for diverse indoor and outdoor tasks. Constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminium, it combines folding A-frame, extension and platform configurations into a single tool. The ladder features stable, wide steps and secure hinge joints that allow quick transformation between modes, providing access to elevated areas in homes, workshops or job sites while keeping transport and storage simple.
Advantages
The ladder's aluminium construction ensures low weight and resistance to rust, making it suitable for frequent use and easier handling during transport. Its multifunctional design reduces the need to own separate ladders: you can use it as an A-frame stepladder, an extension ladder for greater reach and a platform ladder for standing work. Wide anti-slip steps and reinforced hinge points increase stability during use. The folding mechanism enables compact storage when not in use.
Suitable for
Painting walls and ceilings in residential and commercial properties
Installing lighting, shelving and fixtures
Maintenance tasks in workshops and garages
Indoor and outdoor access for cleaning gutters, trimming foliage and similar chores
Temporary work positions where a stable platform is required
Key specifications
Material: corrosion-resistant aluminium for reduced weight and durability
Number of steps: 9 steps designed to provide comfortable climbing height
Configurations: A-frame (folding stepladder), extension ladder and platform mode
Step design: wide, slip-resistant treads for secure footing
Hinges and locks: reinforced hinge joints and locking mechanism for mode stability
Portability: foldable design for compact storage and easier transport
How to use
Select the appropriate ladder configuration for the task and ensure the ladder is placed on a firm, level surface. When using as an A-frame stepladder, fully open the ladder until safety locks engage and confirm hinge locks are secured. When configured as an extension ladder, extend to the required height and engage the locking mechanism; always lean against a stable support and maintain proper angle. For platform mode, set the ladder per the manufacturer instructions and verify that platform supports are locked before standing. Inspect the ladder before each use for damage, clean steps of debris and avoid using in severe wind or on slippery surfaces.
Usage recommendations
Use footwear with good grip, do not exceed the ladder's maximum load capacity, and avoid overreaching—move the ladder to maintain a safe working posture. Store the ladder in a dry place to preserve aluminium condition and periodically check hinge locks and step condition to ensure continued safe operation.
