## Long description

The KRISBERG 7712 Red Enamelled Cast Iron Roaster 33 cm 6.4 L is a heavy-duty kitchen essential designed for versatile cooking applications. Featuring a striking red enamelled finish, this robust cast iron cookware combines classic performance with modern durability. It provides exceptional heat retention and even heat distribution across the entire surface, ensuring your meals are cooked thoroughly and consistently. Whether you are preparing everyday family dinners or elaborate dishes for guests, this roaster delivers reliable results.
Advantages
The enamelled cast iron construction eliminates the need for seasoning while protecting the metal from rust and corrosion. Superior heat retention keeps food warm for longer periods after cooking is finished. The smooth enamel interior makes it easy to monitor cooking and simplifies the cleaning process compared to traditional raw cast iron.
Suitable for
Roasting meats and poultry in the oven
Braising vegetables and making rich stews
Slow cooking tough cuts of meat until tender
Baking homemade bread with a crispy crust
When it may not be suitable
This heavy roaster may be challenging to handle for individuals with limited upper body strength or those who prefer lightweight cookware. Additionally, because of its substantial weight and cast iron composition, it requires careful handling to prevent scratching glass stovetops.
Key specifications
Material: Enamelled cast iron
Diameter: 33 cm
Capacity: 6.4 L
Color: Red
Compatibility: All stovetops including induction, and oven safe
How to use
Before placing the roaster on a stovetop or in the oven, ensure it is heated gradually to prevent thermal shock. Use wooden, silicone, or heat-resistant plastic utensils to protect the enamel surface from chipping. When removing the hot roaster from the oven or stovetop, always use sturdy oven mitts due to the high heat retention of the cast iron material.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your oven dimensions can accommodate a 33 cm roaster
Consider the physical weight of the cookware during daily lifting
Ensure compatibility with your specific cooking hob type
Usage recommendations: Allow the roaster to cool down naturally before washing it with warm water and mild soap, avoiding abrasive scouring pads to maintain the quality of the enamel finish.
